It’s Saturday, the last day of the weekend in Qatar and all Islamic countries.
I was up early for breakfast then out for a walk at 8am before it became too hot. Being too hot is a relative statement, but 38C is pretty warm by most definitions, though nowhere near as high as the thermometer can go in Doha. A breeze made it feel cooler, but it is the humidity that is most draining.
I walked for about an hour along the Corniche passing the museum where I will be working.
There are large grassy areas with palm trees for shade along the Corniche, with a view across the bay of ultra modern skyscrapers.
I stopped after a half hour or so to watch the locals fishing in the bay, then back to the hotel for a cooling swim in the pool.

Hi,
Good to hear you arrived safely.
Liked the video but what happened to the sound. I guess it will take you a few days to get used to the heat. Cool dips in the pool, sieving and iced drinks will help.
Pics looked good too are you using your phone cam ?
