Mother’s Day back in the UK will be on Sunday 30 March. The Americans for reasons of their own wait until the second Sunday in May for Mother’s Day.

Here in the Middle East, Arabic Mother’s Day was the day before yesterday… so if you are an Arab and forgot to buy the card, you still have a second chance to make good next week by going for the UK option.
