Every Friday morning at around 6:30am we now head to Aspire Park for a walk. At 88 hectares it must be Doha’s largest green space. It takes us around an hour and a quarter to walk the entire spongy perimeter running track.
The walk is always accompanied by the gentle twittering of birds wherever you go, regardless of whether there are any birds around, because bird song is piped through a series of loud speakers throughout the park.

haha! The first time I walked around the park I was wondering where all the birds were as I could hear them everywhere but couldn’t see any. Then eventually found one of the speakers and it all clicked.
